Parent Coaching

If you would like more personal and specialized assistance for your family, we suggest that you hire a Parent Coach. Think for a moment of participating in a sport like soccer, football, basketball, or baseball. All teams require a coach to assist individual players perform at the highest level. A coach also shapes individuals into a team. To accomplish this, a coach teaches, directs, motivates, challenges, and supports.

Our Parent Coaches contact you through prearranged telephone meetings to assist your exploration of specific areas in your family life that you would like to change. In consultation with your Parent Coach, you develop concrete strategies to help you achieve your goals. Your coach monitors your family’s success and presents skills that support your desired change.

Hiring a Personal Coach is different from scheduling appointments with a therapist or counselor. Coaches take a more directive approach to teach ways for you to accomplish what you want in your families; the contractual agreement between client and coach is also different. Coaching focuses on the knowledge and skills already present in each family and helps direct this in such a way that the whole family as well as individuals experiences more success. The time period you work with a coach is usually shorter.

Sample Parent Coaching Packages

One month contract of four (4) 45 minute sessions of personal contact plus up to three (3) e-mail contacts per month with a Parent Coach: $340.00

Two month contract of twelve (8) 45 minute sessions of personal contact plus up to three (3) e-mail contacts per month with a Parent Coach: $650.00
