InterActive Family Resources offers parents raising children with special health care needs a variety of educational services. Our
experience has taught us that one of the most important resources for children is their parents. This means that parents must learn how to
encourage the optimal growth of their children. Although many programs are now available to assist parents raising “typical” children, we
fill the gap of needed resources that specifically help parents raising children with special needs in four different ways. Currently our resources include:
- Raising Special Kids is an educational program now available
from Research Press. Organizations or agencies that want to sponsor a Raising Special Kids
eight-week class can order the complete program through Research Press.
- Our Life With Caleb offers parents an in-depth, “insider’s view” of our own experience as parents raising a child with special
health care needs. Although our story may be different from that of other parents, we share this book to describe the heartaches and joys of
raising a child with special health care needs. Our Life With Caleb is available in hardcopy
and as an e-Book.
- Some parents want to discuss their particular challenges raising a child with special health care needs with a professional. To do this,
parents can choose to work intensely with a Parent Coach. To determine if this is appropriate for you and your family,
call us for a free 15 minute consultation.
