Jared Massanari, Ph.D., LPC, LMHC--Director
Jared received his Ph.D. in Religious Studies from Syracuse University after completing a Master's degree in counseling at Florida
State University. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor in North Carolina and a Licensed Mental Health Counselor in Florida.
Currently, he is in private practice in Asheville, North Carolina, specializing in work with families raising children with special needs.
For twenty years he has assisted families learn new ways to transform challenging life experiences into deeper self-understanding
and acceptance. Jared is a frequent workshop leader and conference presenter and is co-author of Our Life With Caleb and
Raising Special Kids. He has written several articles on the impact on families of raising children with special needs. Jared serves
as the Director of InterActive Family Resources, PLLC.
Alice E. Massanari, MA., MSW, LCSW-Parent Educator
Alice is a Clinical Social Worker licensed in North Carolina and Florida. She is currently employed at the Employee Assistance
Network in Asheville North Carolina and in private practice. Alice has taught in the public school system in Indiana, Florida,
Louisiana, and New York. She has been active in a variety of business ventures and has facilitated different parenting programs,
including Active Parenting, The Nurturing Program, and, Children Cope With Divorce. She is the co-author of
Our Life With Caleb, Raising Special Kids, and a series of handbooks on sexual abuse. She also co-authored a
Chapter for a book on the treatment of attachment disorders in children. Alice is a frequent workshop leader and has
presented at many conferences on topics related to parenting children with special needs. She is the primary Parent
Educator and Parent Coach for InterActive Family Resources, PLLC.
